Ras Mohammed National Park is often called the jewel of Sharm el-Sheikh diving — and for good reason. Just a short boat ride from our dive base, it offers dramatic drop-offs, stunning coral gardens, and the chance to encounter everything from schooling jackfish to graceful eagle rays.
Whether you are a new diver or an experienced explorer, Ras Mohammed delivers the kind of dives that make Sharm world-famous.
The Shark and Yolanda Reefs
The most iconic dive site in Ras Mohammed is Shark and Yolanda Reef. The dive begins along a stunning coral wall that drops into the deep blue, where you might spot reef sharks, barracuda, and large Napoleon wrasse.
At the end of the wall lies the wreck of the Yolanda — a cargo ship that sank in 1980, leaving its cargo of bathroom fixtures scattered across the seabed. It is one of the most photographed and memorable sights in the Red Sea.
Anemone City
Another favourite is Anemone City, a vast field of anemones home to thousands of clownfish. The colours here are extraordinary, and it is a favourite stop for underwater photographers.
When to Visit
Ras Mohammed can be dived year-round, but the best conditions are typically between April and November, when water temperatures are warmest and visibility is at its peak.
